DEWALT, a leading manufacturer of industrial power tools announced the introduction of its Heavy-Duty 2 Gallon, 150 PSI MAX, Trim Compressor (D55141). The new compressor is designed to offer end users increased performance, quiet operation, and a lightweight, compact design. DEWALT designed the D55141 trim compressor to handle up to two finish nailers. Finish woodworkers and carpenters can use the D55141 to complete custom interior and exterior trim applications, while other tradesmen will find it useful in a number of non-trim applications.

Performance For increased performance, the compressor produces 2.0 SCFM at 90 PSI, 150 PSI Max, and provides users with a low noise operation at 79 dBA. The D55141 is also equipped with an oil-free pump, allowing for maintenance-free operation. This long-life pump delivers surge performance with quick recovery, and the oil-free design also increases productivity by eliminating the need for users to check or refill the pump. Additionally, the oil-free pump helps to keep the jobsite clean, preventing oil from transferring to work surfaces. The compressor was designed with a 10 amp draw motor to deliver easy start-up and reduced breaker tripping. The motor is also equipped with a high flow regulator that delivers maximum air pressure, increasing performance on the jobsite.

Ease of Use/Portability The D55141 weighs only 30 pounds and features a thin, compact design, enabling users to easily transport and store the compressor. For increased efficiency, DEWALT equipped the D55141 with easy-to-use dual, quick couplers, allowing multiple nailer operations at the same time. The compressor also features a ball drain valve for quick and thorough tank draining and a convenient cord wrap for quick, easy storage.

Durability DEWALT built the D55141 with an innovative roll cage, full-protection frame design to shield the unit from accidental damage and routine wear and tear. The wrap-around control panel that covers the frame also provides further protection to key components of the compressor. This compact and unique design provides maximum durability and longevity.
